Herons on the Broad River
Columbia, SC -- There's nothing I love better than to be on the water. And if I can't be on the water, South Carolina offers plenty of opportunities to be around it. In Columbia, the Broad river merges with the Saluda to form the Congaree river. On a recent Saturday afternoon, I found myself gravitating to the Broad river and the abundant wildlife there. The next several posts will show off the Blue Herons on the Broad river and a lone Great Egret.
