Spring is in the air!
Magnolia Gardens -- Located in historic Charleston, SC, Magnolia Plantation and Gardens was founded by the Drayton family back in 1676. The gardens are the oldest public gardens in America and is located on the beautiful Ashley River.For more information, visit their website.

Hi Mary, The gardens there are very beautiful! It's an interesting row of plantation homes. The "next door" neighbors include Drayton Hall (http://www.draytonhall.org)Middleton Place (http://www.middletonplace.org). Middleton Place in particular is billed as the oldest planned gardens in the country! Come on down!
