Return to Alaska

Alaska -- As the plane banked into a turn, I could see the snow covered mountains--the Chugach mountains, standing guard over Anchorage, Alaska. The plane glided towards the ground and moments later, as the rubber hit the runway, the journey began. In the course of two weeks, I would travel as far north as the Wonder Lake Campground in Denali ("the great one") National Park and as far south as Seward. It was a long two weeks in some regards. Just driving out to Wonder Lake from the park entrance was a twelve hour journey, which the sights I had seen made it worth the whole trip. Everything else was icing on the cake at that point. Below are some of the sights I have seen.
