Whittier, Alaska
-- Portage Glacier is located near Whittier, Alaska. I got to this site almost completely out of breath at the end of a hike that went straight up! I liked the different elements this scene had to offer--the cool look of the ice, the sharp edges of the mountains, and the stillness of the water along the green foliage.
